Applause Theatre-Rent

April 24, 1996. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Like most people I first heard about Rent due to the untimely death of its creator Jonathan Larson. After numerous articles regarding his death and the show I decided that I needed to see what the buzz was all about. Well not only did it exceed all my expectations but eleven years and over two dozen viewings later it is still by far the best thing I have ever seen.
