Brigadoon, with Revised Book by Guare, Headed for Broadway Next Year
Brigadoon tells the story of two disillusioned Americans on vacation in Scotland, where the friends unintentionally discover a village which comes alive for one day every 100 years. The shows lyrics and original book were by Alan Jay Lerner, with music by Frederick Loewe including such classic songs such as "Almost Like Being In Love" and "Waiting for my Dearie."
