After all these years I can't believe that Rent is closing. Even after 12 years it is still the best show I have ever seen. Now that's saying a lot considering that after 16 years of living in New York I have seen hundreds of shows. Believe it or not I still have the ticket stub from the first time I saw Rent on April 24, 1996. Since that time I have seen Rent over 25 times. It is hard to imagine it not being here anymore. But we all knew it wouldn't last forever. So whether it's your first time or your 100th time see the show that changed musical theatre forever.
