Whoopi Goldberg Returns To Broadway In 'Xanadu' and Applause Theatre Service has an Insider Deal for You!

My girl from The View, Whoopi Goldberg is back on Broadway in the hit musical "Xanadu". She just started this week and apparently is having some difficulty remembering her lines! Reports are that she is using cue cards!! YIKES!
Ms. Goldberg is playing the role of Caliope which was originally created by the hilarious Jackie Hoffman(who is returning to the role when Whoopi's limited run ends on September 7th).

Who cares if she's having some memorization issues! She's Whoopi and she probably improvises through most of the show! I saw the show when it first opened and was really surprised at how much fun it was! It's 90 minutes of non-stop hilarity with great classic songs we all love from the original cult classic movie that starred Olivia Newton John.
Whoopi loves the stage and has continued the tradition Rosie O'Donnell started on The View of having all the shows perform live and promote Broadway the way it deserves to be promoted!
