Get Tickets To See 13 Thru Applause Theatre Service


Well after much trepidation I finally went to see 13 last week on Broadway. Is it the greatest show ever written? No. But to be honest it's not the worst either. Look if you are a teenage boy or girl than you probably think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. As an adult not so much. However,I don't think that the producers are trying to attract the over 20 crowd anyway. The writers of 13 have written a show that appeals to the 11-15 year old demographic. And on that level I have to say that the have succeeded. Now based on what I have said so far you might be thinking to yourself that I hated the show. That is not true. See I think if you go into the show knowing what to expect and put yourself into the mindset of a child that age then it is not half bad. The funny thing is I could relate to a lot of what they were going through. I too was the awkward kid who was too shy to talk to girls. I am a child of divorce. On many levels the words spoke too me. So maybe the show isn't for everybody. But I say go in with an open mind. It might just surprise you. It did me.
