Billy Elliot Set To Open On Broadway Tonight


After five weeks of previews Billy Elliot is finally opening on Broadway. I myself haven't seen the show. In fact except for the office mascot Jesse"Don't Call Me A Dog" Freeman I am the only one in my office who hasn't seen the show. I hear Jesse is holding out for Shrek. Anyway you've all heard about the show being stopped a million times over the past month due to mechanical problems. Actually it was only six or seven times. But who's counting. Regardless of what you have heard or read about it really doesn't matter. Billy Elliot already has a healthy advance and whether the reviews are good or not it is poised to be here for a very long time. Although a few nice reviews might prolong it's run by a few years.Either way Billy Elliot is here to stay. So you might as well get used to it.
