One of the best selling shows the past couple of years has been the incredible production of Lincoln Centers "South Pacific" on Broadway. I went to see it very early in previews with one of my managers here at Applause and knew then that this was going to be a gigantic hit. I went back to the owners of the company and said we need lots of seats for this monster! They trusted my judgement and the show took off and sold like gangbusters and has since slowed down very little.

And can you believe that this was the first EVER revival of this show on Broadway? That's just amazing to me. I'm sure there are many producers out there who had the opportunity to obtain the rights and passed on it and are now kicking themselves in the behinds!
