South Pacific and Romance

Looking for the perfect evening? Well look no further than Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific. Not only does the show contain some of the most beautiful music ever written for the American musical theatre but it is also one of the most romantic shows on the Great White Way. The show which won seven 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival continues to enchant audiences eight times a week at Broadway's Vivian Beaumont Theatre.

I had the pleasure of seeing the show right before it opened last year and thought it was one of the most visually stunning productions I have ever seen. Not too mention a cast of Broadway veterans and newcomers who made the stage come alive. If you get a chance on your next trip to New York I highly recommend you see it if you get the chance. It is a classic.
