Cast Announced For La Cage aux Folles

Joining previously announced stars Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge in the Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles are J. Shively, Veanne Cox, Robin de Jesús, Chris Hoch, Christine Andreas, Elena Shaddow.This new production which is a transfer of the Olivier Award wining London production is set to begin previews on April 6 at the Longacre Theatre with an official opening set for April 18. The show was last seen on Broadway in 2005 where it won that year's Tony Award for Best Revival.Is it too soon already for another revival?Hey if Gypsy can make a comeback after only four years then I guess La Cage can as well. Here's to a new production of Guys and Dolls in 2013. Until next time theatre fans.
