Wicked Is Still Going Strong

It's 2010 and Broadway's reigning champ is still Wicked. Who would have thought a show about two witches would become the biggest hit in Broadway history. I sure didn't. Neither did the critics when it first opened back in 2003. Yet here we are six years later and Wicked continues to break box office records around the world week in and week out. In fact just last week the Broadway production broke it's own record from the year before by grossing over two million dollars. Who says that Broadway is in a slump? Most shows after a few years tend to slow down but not Wicked. In all the years in this business I have never seen a show that is as popular as Wicked. I will even go as far to say that Wicked will eventually surpass The Phantom of The Opera as Broadway's longest running show. Sure they may have a way to go but if any show has a chance to do it Wicked does. By the way right now is the best time to get tickets to see Broadway's top show. What are waiting for? Call now and get your tickets to see Wicked On Broadway. It is a must see.

Wicked Still Breaking Box Office Records

Now in it's sixth celebrated year on Broadway is Wicked. In all my years in this business I have never seen a show that continues to sell out every performance like Wicked does. When you consider that fact that it also plays in the biggest theater on Broadway then it is even more amazing. I'll admit that while I did enjoy the show I never expected it would be the big hit that it is today. Don't forget that the show also didn't get very good reviews when it opened either. I guess the critics don't know everything.

Now while Wicked may be Broadway's selling show that doesn't mean you can't get tickets. In fact at Applause we can get you tickets for any performance of your choice. Want tickets for a Saturday night? No problem. How about thirty tickets for your school trip next Summer. Just give us a call and leave the rest up to us. It's that easy. By the way we also sell tickets for Wicked in London and Nationwide. Why not give us a try? You'll be glad you did.

Now Is The Best Time To Get Your Tickets To See Wicked

Don't tell me you still haven't seen Broadway's most popular show. It's only been playing for six years. Now in this economy a trip to New York can be expensive. The good thing is you don't have to spend thousands of dollars to come to New York just to see Wicked. In fact you might even be able to see Wicked where you live. Right now the show is currently playing not only in New York and London but at different theatres all around the world. Not bad for a show that didn't get very good reviews when it first opened. What do critics know? They're not the one buying the tickets. You are.

The show which first opened in October 2003 continues to break box office records at the Gershwin Theatre on a weekly basis. In fact I dare say one of these days Wicked will eventually surpass The Phantom of the Opera as Broadway's longest running show. Yes I know they have a long way to go but if any show has a chance Wicked does. Now just because Wicked is Broadway's biggest seller doesn't mean you can't get tickets. Here at Applause we can get you tickets to any show of your choice. Looking for this Saturday night? No problem. How about New Year's Day? Just give us a call and let us do the rest. It's that easy. So what are you waiting for? You don't want to be the only one of your friends who hasn't seen Wicked do you? Why not give us a try. You'll be glad you did.

It's Wicked Fun!

I don't know about you but growing up I loved the Wizard of Oz. I wanted to be Dorothy so bad I convinced my parents to get me a little pair of red shiny shoes so I could pretend. Fast foward about 40 years and I still love The Wizard of Oz. A Few months ago I had the opportunity to take my family to see Wicked the prequel of the Wizard of Oz. It tells the story of two girls that meet in the land of Oz. One is born with emerald green skin and is smart and spunky and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. It takes you on their journey and shows you how then end up the best of frineds yet one becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and the other Glinda the Good Witch. It will have you hanging off the edge of your seat. For the best seats at the best prices call Applause!!!

Six Years Later And Wicked Is Still Going Strong

Who would have thought that a show that didn't get very good reviews would not only still be running but turn out to be one of the most successful shows in Broadway history? I am of course talking about Wicked. The show which celebrated it's sixth year on Broadway just last week continues to sell out nightly at the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway. Not only that but it continues to break box office records at theatres all around the world.

I saw the show during it's preview period in 2003 and while I enjoyed it I never expected it to become the phenomenon that is has become. I don't think anybody did. Every year there are rumblings about them turning the show into a movie but I think it would be wise to wait a few more years. A movie is not going to make them sell any more tickets than they already have. Regardless Wicked is here to stay. It is Broadway's most "Popular" show after all. Get your tickets to see Wicked at a theatre near you. Don't forget. We are just a phone away.

Wicked To Celebrate Six Years On The Great White Way

On October 30th Wicked will mark it's sixth year on Broadway. The show which continues to sell out nightly is still Broadway's most popular show not to mention the highest grossing show week after week. Most people forget that the show didn't get very good reviews when it opened. Yet here we are all these years later and Wicked shows no end in sight. Even though I enjoyed it when I saw it I never expected it would become the worldwide sensation that it is today. Never underestimate the theatre going public. They are the ones who control the success or failure of a show. Not the critics. Until next time theatre fans.

Wicked-Broadway's Most "Popular" Show

Here we are six years later and Wicked is still going strong. The show has been breaking box office records since it opened in November 2003. I first saw the show the week before opening. While I enjoyed it I never thought it would become the mega hit that it has become on Broadway and around the world. The show which lost the Tony Award for Best Musical to Avenue Q is not only our biggest seller but continues to sell out eight times a week at the Gershwin Theatre. Now that doesn't mean you can't get tickets. We have access to tickets for every performance. From Rear Mezzanine to Premium Orchestra, Applause is your best source for Broadway's #1 show. Why not give us a try? You'll be glad you did.

Wicked Is Still Broadway's #1 Show

Six years and over 2,400 performances later Wicked is still going strong with no end in sight. Wicked which is now a worldwide sensation has been breaking box office records at the Gershwin Theatre since October 2003 and everywhere in between. The show which believe it or not did not get very good reviews when it opened continues to sell out every night. Broadway has not seen a hit like this in years and I expect Wicked to be around for a very long time. Will it outlast Broadway's longest running hit The Phantom of the Opera? Well they have a long way to go but if any show has a chance to break Phantom's record than it is Wicked. Good seats are available for all performances so call Applause now to get your tickets to see Broadways most popular show Wicked The Musical. Wicked-Broadway's Biggest Hit

Can you believe it's been almost six years since Wicked first opened on the Great White Way? Since then it has not only become a Broadway favorite but one of the most successful shows in Broadway history. The show which is also an international sensation continues to sell out every night at the Gershwin Theatre. I saw the show about a week before opening and thought it was good and would probably run awhile. Who would have imagined that it would become the big hit that it has become. I sure didn't. Most people forget that the show didn't get very good reviews when it opened. Not only that but the show which was expected to win the 2004 Tony Award lost the big prize to the little show that could Avenue Q. Which by the way is closing on September 13. Look whether the critics liked it or not Wicked is here to stay. That is a guarantee.

Here we are six years into the Broadway run of Wicked and it is still the most popular show around. I first saw the show during previews and although I thought it was great never did I think it would become the world wide phenomenon that it is today.
