This is Rich Gladstone, one of the owner's of Applause Theatre Service in New York City. We are only 3 weeks away from the 2008 Tony Awards, honoring excellence in the theater.

This years expected favorites to win awards are In The Heights, The Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein, Boeing Boeing, Cry Baby, Passing Strange, South Pacific, Gypsy and several additional new and exciting Broadway Shows. If you get a chance, you should seriously try to see a few if you have some time.

See Young Frankenstein Now Thru Applause Theatre Service

Forget what the critic's say about the show. If you want to spend a fun night in the theatre that will make you laugh until you cry then Young Frankenstein is the show for you. Unlike most people who go to see the show I've never seen the movie, so I have nothing compare it too. But I loved it. It put a smile on my face from beginning to end. And isn't that what theatre is all about? So what are you waiting for? Go see Young Frankenstein. You will have a great time. I know I did.

Get Tickets To See Young Frankenstein Thru Applause Theatre Service

I've never seen the movie. I didn't even see The Producers when it was on Broadway. My feeling was that anything built up that much was not going to be worth all the hype. How could it be? But now having seen Young Frankenstein twice I can honestly say that if you want to see a good old fashioned musical comedy that will make you laugh from beginning to end than Young Frankenstein is the show to see. Now if that doesn't make you want to see the show then I have four more words for you. Megan Mullally and Sutton Foster. Every moment those two powerhouses are on stage I dare you not to take notice. Those two ladies are what a true Broadway star should be, and are I am happy to say. They alone are worth the price of admission. Now I know some of the jokes may be a little off color at times, but if you've ever seen a Mel Brooks movie then you already know what you're in for before the curtain even rises. Just go, have a good time, and enjoy the show for what it's worth. And that's all I have to say about that. Except this. Having trouble getting tickets to Young Frankenstein?
