South Pacific on Broadway is the "hot ticket" this year

Hello theatre friends,

In the 31 years that I have been in the ticket business I have seen shows come and go. Some last a few months. Then there are those like The Phantom of the Opera that are still running 20 years later. You never know. This years "big ticket seller" by far is the 50 year old revival of South Pacific. It seems like just about every 4th or 5th phone call Applause gets is a person requesting seats to this terrific "old fashioned" Broadway Show. That's the good news really. The bad news is that it plays at a theatre with only a thousand seats or so, so of course that is what is making this "hard to get ticket", even harder to get my friends.

There are two pieces of great news though. First, the show plays at Lincoln Center's very intimate Vivian Beaumont Theater. The second piece of great news is if you make a simple call to Applause Theatre Service in New York City you will be able to get great seats. And they won't cost you "an arm and a leg" either.

Applause is open seven days a week throughout the year and has an excellent reputation for its superbly trained and expert sales staff. They don't just push you to buy a ticket as they want to make sure you are completely comfortable with your purchase. If that's not enough, get this friends. They will tell you the really fun places to eat, places to sight-see, shop or even park your car. Applause is known for its dedication to excellent customer service. They're hope is for you to become a customer of course, then recommend their service to friends, co-workers and family as well.

Now back to the topic at hand, South Pacific. I have seen a few hundred shows in my career in the Broadway Show ticket business. I've loved many and South Pacific ranks up there high with many of the great ones of our time.

If you think you might want to see one or more of several other great Broadway Shows, just say the word. there are upwards of around 30 playing almost every night.

Why wait? Call Applause at their office in New York at 212-307-7050 or toll free at 1-800-451-9930. They love to talk theatre and are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Rich Gladstone

Applause Theatre Service "Knows" How To Serve Theater-Goers to Broadway

I can't help myself. After 31 years of providing the most personal level of service in an industry that used to "be all about service", I look around and I see hundreds and hundreds of companies all selling Broadway Show tickets also. I'm not privy to how many tickets they sell nor do I know which shows sell the most but I keep asking myself are they really in the personal ticket service business or simply trying to make "Internet transactions" without providing the service that the public needs and wants.

We are a service economy and I really can't believe that most consumers want to simply click on a seat location on one of a thousand web sites, give their credit card information to a company they never heard of before on some long drawn out "order form", or to any entity where they haven't at least "spoken to a live person", prior to making a purchase. But what do I know, they're are probably tons of people that just don't need that high level of personalized "customer service" that I am speaking of.

My company, Applause has been in business for 21 years now and I am proud to say I have handled the theatre going needs of tens of thousands of people that have seen superb Broadway Shows. We have loads of testimonials on our web site but all I can say is if you are in the need of tickets or simply have a question about "Broadway Theatre", don't think twice friends. Pick up the phone and call us at 212-307-7050 or toll free at 1-800-451-9930 7 days a week, at any time at all between 9am and 8pm.

Sure we sell tickets but more importantly, we provide "service". Service is something I feel is sorely missing, not only in the ticketing industry but in many industries like airlines and car dealerships.

My company, Applause Theatre and Entertainment Service Inc. has been providing a great service for a long time. If you happen to be in the market to be needing a ticket or just wanting to know what our Broadway Experts think of a particular show, give us a call. No pressure to buy a ticket at Applause, we're just a very cool bunch of service providers doing "our own thing" 7 days a week, offering visitors to New York that don't know where to go to buy good tickets at fair prices.

Applause Theatre Service, "real people you can trust". You have my personal guarantee of experiencing a great service. I really doubt anyone else can do what we do in New York City regarding providing a "great and highly personalized" level of service for Broadway Shows.

If you need anything or want to talk, please give me a call at the office at 212-307-7050 or toll free at 1-800-451-9930 or on my cell at 848-565-1855. My email is rich@applause-tickets.com .

I hope to hear from you and hope you love Broadway Theatre as much as I do, really I do.

Take care,
Rich Gladstone

Get Amazing Tickets to see Broadway's Newest Hit Show "Cry-Baby" from Applause Theatre Service

Applause Theatre Service and its friendly sales and service team of Broadway Ticket Experts are pleased to announce "specially reduced-price" preview performance tickets for a new musical called "Cry-Baby". Performances of this new John Water's cult film turned stage musical called "Cry-Baby" will start on March 15, 2008 prior to an official opening on April 24, 2008.

Cry-Baby will star James Snyder as Wade "Cry-Baby" Walker and Elizabeth Stanley as his "good girl" that wants to be bad" leading lady Allison. The show has its book written by Thomas Meehan, a long time Broadway veteran. Mr. Meehan also collaborated with Mr. Water's on Broadway's other great musical-comedy sensation Hairspray.

The entire Applause team really enjoyed Hairspray and has provided thousands of tickets to its customers over the past 5 years or so. We are looking forward to another amazing production from this talented group of creative individuals and its "up and coming" very talented cast.

So now is the time to call Applause toll free at 800-451-9930 or locally in New York City at 212-307-7050 and ask for the CRY-BABY "insider's discount deal". If the show opens as we expect to rave reviews, it will be too late to get these specially priced seats. Where else can you go to buy tickets for the "best seats in the house" at prices much lower than Broadway tickets usually go for?

Why wait and miss out on this great offer. This is one of those rare exceptions where it might just pay to "be a Cry-Baby", right?

Buying Broadway Tickets Is a Matter of Trust

Interested in buying Broadway Tickets? When you go to Google and simply type in Broadway Tickets when you are interested in buying "Broadway Tickets", you will get pages and pages of answers to where to shop for tickets. In fact there are 5,410,000 possibilities. Kind of crazy right? You can simply go to http://www.applause-tickets.com/ and contact Applause in New York City.

So how will the average person shopping for Broadway Tickets know which web site to stop at? Or how will the average person know which company to consider contacting by phone when considering talking with someone about various shows playing on Broadway?

Like most things people shop for in life, it often takes several converations or interactions with a company to get an idea of possibly wanting to do business with that company. At Applause Theatre and Entertainment Service Inc., a licensed ticket broker doing business at 311 west 43rd street, suite 601 in New York City, the company makes a big deal out of asking the public to "call us so we can talk and get to know you". Many companies in most industries rarely promote the public to "call", instead relying on "web bookings" or email type sales.

The Applause staff of friendly Broadway and London ticket experts http://www.applause-tickets.com/ have an uncanny ability to handle the most difficult ticket requests put in front of them, not to mention the thousands of questions they receive about which restaurants their customers might want to dine at or inquiries about hotel bedding, sightseeing, shopping and just about anything you can think of. The company doesn't look at its shoppers and customers like "its all about making a quick sale" so they can move onto the next person on their phone lines.

They take their time with all callers. The goal is to hopefully make the caller feel as comfortable as possible. Sure they love to sell Broadway tickets, and they sell tons of them. They have been in business for over 21 years now and know how to treat their customers as well as anyone calling the company.

Their Broadway ticket inventory is extensive as is their access to inventory for shows, events, concerts and sporting events all over the country The Applause Theatre and Entertainment Service staff "aims to please" on each and every call.

So when you are interested in getting tickets for a Broadway show in New York or events throughout the country and in London too, you may want to consider calling Applause in New York at 800-451-9930 or 212-307-7050. After all, as I said at the beginning of this post, isn't it really just a matter of trust"? Remember Applause Theatre Service in New York City when you, your friends, relatives or co-workers need a friendly, relaible and trustworthy ticket service.

Applause Theatre and Entertainment Service-New York's Trusted Ticket Service

It's Thursday night, November 29,2007, and it is a little after 8pm. Every Broadway show is performing tonight live in New York City. The 19 day long Stagehands union strike is finally over. Our lives as ticket agents are getting back to normal.

Having been a licensed ticket seller for Broadway, Off Broadway and family event shows like the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for over 30 years now, I can say I have never experienced a time this long when the shows weren't playing. I walked through the theatre district tonight and saw the Broadway neon lights brighter than ever, not to mention the fantastic "electricity like feeling" throughout the cool night air.

Broadway is back. If you want to feel the excitement too, need some information or a description of a top Broadway or Off Broadway show you've been thinking about catching one day-give us a call at 212-307-7050 or at 1-800-451-9930. There's no pressure to buy anything. We'd like to get to know you, hopefully let us open an account for you, maybe put you on the mailing list so we can keep you informed on what's happening on Broadway in New York City.

If you prefer to go online, you can meet our people too. Simply go to http://www.applause-tickets.com/ .

If you need some theatre tickets in New York, we'd love to hear from you. Take care now.
