Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy
Grail, Spamalot is the new musical written by Eric Idle, directed by Oscar
Winning Mike Nichols and with a new score created by Eric Idle and John
du Prez.
The musical retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail. In true Python style the show features scantily clad showgirls, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and a legless knight – plus, no doubt, a few shrubberies.
