Based on the hit independent movie, Once is the story of an emotionally charged romance. Featuring the Academy Award-winning song "Falling Slowly."

On the streets of Dublin, an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship and collaboration quickly evolves into a powerful but complicated love story.

Winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year is Once. I loved the show when I saw it and I hope that theatregoers in London will feel the same. Fingers crossed.  Based on the 2005 film of the same name Once tells the story of an Irish songwriter and a young Czech girl who come together thru their mutual love of music. Performances are set to begin at the Phoenix Theatre on March 16. As of now they are selling tickets thru November 30 but if reviews are good I am almost certain that it will extend. Now for those of you who are travelling across the pond in the next few months you won't find a better show than this one. Get your tickets to see Once at the Phoenix Theatre. You will love it.
