You may vaguely remember we booked Matilda – London tickets for her and her family for last week. You were able to secure “hospitality” tickets for her. Mrs. MacLean was THRILLED with the Hospitality tickets experience and said the whole family got a huge kick out of it. Their host/ butler(not sure if that is the right term?) that showed them to their VIP table, seats, etc… was named GEORGE and they all loved him. Even informed him that he needed to come home to Chicago with them b/c he was so fabulous.

What I really wanted to mention was that I kept telling you the champagne bonus was not a big deal but what I learned tonight was perhaps every theatre house does their own thing, Tonight's champagne was quite posh. We were escorted to a VIP room and served a bottle of fine bubbly. During intermission we were invited back to finish the bottle that was being chilled in a silver bucket and a reserved card on the couch. Wow! We tried to tip the lovely Lucy but she said it was not necessary? Anyway, I wanted you to know that your ticket connections were wonderful and we had a great time.

On my 40th anniversary this year we came back to New York where we were married 40 years ago. Yes, we got tickets from Applause to see Jersey Boys and it was great. Your staff did a great job. Mr. Bodenschatz (I know, I butchered the spelling again) did a fine job and we all 4 had a great time, good dinner afterwards and just a fun anniversary.

Just a quick note to thank you for the tickets the seats were great and the show (Jersey Boys) was the best I ever saw. It was very nice of you and the others at your place to take the time and trouble to make recommendation on where to eat, park, etc. We ended up eating at DaTamassa's at 54th & 8th and parked right next door to the theater. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was fantastic. As an added surprise they validated our parking ticket and we only had to pay half price to park! All and all it was a great night (my 60th) birthday and you and the people you work with made it even better.

Just wanted to say that thanks to your knowledgable staff, we were able to see the play we wanted. When I called to obtain tickets for Pirate Queen in late June, I was told that it would probably close before then. When I asked why, I was informed that when a play gets no Tony nominations, it will most likely close - I was completely unaware of this possiblity. I was told that I could purchase the tickets, but that they would probably be refunded.
I was disappointed of course, thinking that we couldn't get to Broadway in time. We did rearrange our schedule and purchased tickets for and attended the play on June 10. It was noted before we arrived in NYC that the play would close on June 17.
Whew! We made it and had a terrific time, thanks to your staff!
I'd be more than happy to use Applause for any of our next Broadway adventures.

Recently, I had opportunity to travel to New York. It was my first time there and, although I knew I wanted to see some Broadway shows, I had no idea of where to start with regard to booking tickets or what shows to see.....Upon checking on the Internet I came across your Website and actually called the toll free number initially...a very nice person...Todd???...was very helpful in letting me know which shows were available and popular and then reinforcing booking on-line for the dinner and show special that was being offered by Applause. With some trepidation that I might be able to purchase tickets cheaper once in New York or that there may be better shows to see, I ordered tickets/dinner for Wicked and The Lion King.
I must say I was totally impressed and pleased with my experience with your company. The tickets arrived within days of my ordering them. In New York, we discovered that it would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to even get tickets for those two very popular shows and, if we had been successful, would likely have had to pay double the price! Dinner for both shows was very good....and, for The Lion King, I was fortunate enough to sit in Row 11!
Needless to say, we had a wonderful time in New York and I definitely plan to return! When I do, I will be checking your website again with a view to booking tickets for more shows. I am not sure if the dinner special is often offered but it was certainly a plus!
As a sidenote, Todd also recommended Dirty Rotten Scoundrels which we ended up getting tickets to at the last minute...we thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

You helped me with a ticket to Hairspray in April and I wanted to tell you thanks. The play was SO MUCH FUN!!! I went to Lundy's on your recommendation and it was fabulous also. What a wonderful evening I had.
I would love to bring my daughter to New York for her 13th birthday present and do the same evening with her. I am flexible about dates. Would you have 2 good seats for any performance June 12 - 15 or August 29 - 31? I could plan the trip around when would be the best show seat availability.
I hope it is okay to ask you directly for help. The web site doesn't allow for flexibility. If you are not allowed to do "personal help" I understand.

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our dinner special to Hairspray.
There were six of us and we chose Maria Pia, we didn't know what to expect with the price that we paid. We were pleasantly surprised. The meal was great, the ambiance even better. We should have allowed a bit more time for dinner, that was our fault not the fault of Maria Pia. We each had a different entree from the limited menu and each meal was as good as the other.
We would definitely use Applause again.

I just want to say thank you to Applause tickets. I was doing some last minute searching for tickets to Mamma Mia for my mothers 43rd Birthday and everywhere I checked it was $200. and Up.
So I finally stumbled upon applause-tickets.com and not only were the tickets a fair price but there was also a free dinner included...and I'm not talking about McDonalds! My mother said the Dinner was so delicious, the restaurant was beautiful and the show was absolutely amazing.
I must apologize to the staff of Applause tickets because I did call and harass a few people once I ordered the tickets. I just felt this deal was too good to be true and I was worried that I got scammed. But, I didn't!

I have told a few friends about your site and hope they will contact you in the future when/if they decide to take a weekend show in.
You recently made arrangements for myself and 2 friends for a weekend trip to NYC.
We stayed at the Southgate Tower Suite Hotel and saw Hairspray the weekend of 3/1/03.
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our weekend. The hotel was perfect for 3 women sharing a room. The suite was spacious, clean and very chic. The staff was very nice and provided for our every need. We had originally requested the Novotel. While the Novotel would have been more convenient to the theatre, the Southgate suite provided a cozy space for us to relax and for lively conversation. The 2 bathrooms were a plus for 3 women sharing a room. It was also very convenient to the Penn RR station. The closeness to the train station convinced me that the hotel was a great find.
We immensely enjoyed Hairspray. The seats were OK, not great, but OK. We would have enjoyed that show no matter where are seats were. I'm also glad our trip had not coincided with the musicians strike. I guess you're glad it is over as well.
All in all, I was very satisfied with your recommendations. I would definitely use APPLAUSE-TICKETS.com again.

I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you that we could not have been more pleased with our package from Applause. We were the couples from South Dakota who came in over Valentine's Day. The Novotel was a wonderful place to stay. Not only was the service and accommodations top notch, it was so close to everything. The Cafe Nicole had a special Valentine's dinner that we could apply our vouchers to that was just outstanding. We got hooked on the Cosmopolitan!
Please thank Richard who from home made phone calls to arrange our additional night stays when we got snowed in, but we made the most of it by getting on TV both on the Today Show and the David Letterman Show.

Broadway was perfect. Absolutely perfect. So thanks for all your help with--unbelievably--both Chicago and The Producers. Everything went according to plan with no snags, and the seats were excellent in both cases. Loved both productions, as did my daughter and her friend, although I might actually have to give the nod to Chicago, because it has so many great tunes and was such a well-produced show. The Producers was great, but I must confess to thinking how it would have been with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, even though the two actors in this production were very, very good. Anyway, again, my thanks to you, and much applause for Applause!

A quick note of praise for an employee of Applause - Liz Edell. People always seem to write to complain, but you don't hear from them when they are pleased. I worked, off and on, with Liz for several months to secure good tickets for a couple of shows in early December. She assured me she could get good seating for us at standard prices, but I was sceptical, and called her more than once, with various questions, as fall settled in. She was always very polite, very reassuring and very informative.
By the time my tickets arrived ( and I was extremely happy with them) I felt like Liz was my friend. She is certainly an excellent and efficient advocate for your company. I will contact Applause first the next time I need tickets for anything, and this is strictly because of Liz. Give that woman a big raise!!
I just want you to know how delighted I was with the excellent service Vickie gave me recently. She helped me make reservations for my family to attend The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York. I was thrilled with the fabulous price of our tickets and amazed at the great seats we reserved. When she told me about the free dinner included, I was sure it was too good to be true. Vickie explained the package patiently to this Southern girl. She told me about each of the restaurants and made recommendations. She even helped me determine the best way to get to the theater from Penn Station! I was especially grateful for all of her tips like: Make your dinner reservations early. Ask for the time of the last seating in the restaurant. Do not take shopping bags to the theater because bags are checked for security reasons. Vickie gave me "FULL SERVICE." I must tell you that our visit to the Big Apple was a dream...thanks to Vickie. We had a wonderful time! Vickie is a fantastic ambassador for New York. Our thanks go to her and to Applause for giving our family the holiday memory of a lifetime!

Wanted to let everyone at your office know that we had a wonderful day in New York with your tickets for Radio City and dinner. Eight of us went, including my three grandchildren, 9 and two 11's. We chose Lundy's and since our show was over at 1.00 we had a 1.30 p.m. dinner/late luncheon. The menu was exactly as stated in your package, the food delicious and our table near the window overlooking Broadway very exciting. The show was magical - the great seats altogether were perfect and the arrangements for dinner went so smoothly.

I wanted to send a big thank you to applause-tickets.com for finding tickets for my family and I for Hairspray. A great big thank you to Phil, the associate who helped me with my special needs. Phil went above and beyond the call of duty to help me on my order. I spoke with him on Sunday, with a few dates I was interested in, he took my number and called me back with in a half an hour. I wasn't quite satisfied with the results, I wanted better seats, I apologized for being a "pain in the ass", but Phil said no problem and that he would call me back. That he did, with excellent seats.
I did not want this excellence go with out recognition. Today, it is very hard to get good customer service, and with Phil that is excatly what I received.
