Garbage can lids and brooms and sticks make up just a few of the "instruments" used for this percussive symphony. Stomp has been packing in audiences at the Orpheum Theatre since 1994, and is still running strong.

Stomp is a high-energy, percussive symphony, coupled with dance, played entirely on non-traditional instruments, such as garbage can lids, buckets, brooms and sticks.

Really? Stomp has been playing since 1994? Where has the time gone? Like other long running Off-Broadway shows like Blue Man Group and Fuerza Bruta I have never seen it. Look I'm sure it is entertaining. It's just the thought of a bunch of actors banging on trash cans for ninety minutes doesn't interest me. Oh well. I don't think the producers of the show are losing any sleep because I haven't seen it. By the way for those of you who still haven't seen the show there is no better time than the present. In fact if you call now we can get you tickets to see the show for less. Now while this "Special Offer" is good thru March 23,2013 it is not good for Saturday evening performances and subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Stomp. Oh sure it may not be my first choice but it might just be yours. Until next time theatre fans.
