Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Broadway show tells the story of a group of women whose love lives aren't exactly serene. Each woman is plagued by problems created by their relationships with the men in their lives. The Broadway show is based on a 1988 film by Spanish director Pedro Almodovar. The acclaimed director is known for complicated relationships and funny characters and the Broadway version of his film is no different.

Pepa is a voice over actress who begins a mission to deliver a message to her cheating boyfriend, Ivan. To complicate matters, Ivan's ex wife was recently released from a mental institution and is now on her own journey to find Ivan and her child. Over the next 48 hours, the characters race across town – some are searching and some are hiding! The all star cast is hilarious and on point. You won't be disappointed.

Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Broadway show opens on November 4 at the Belasco Theater. It features music and lyrics by David Yazbek and will star Broadway veterans Patti LuPone, Sherie Rene Scott and Brian Stokes Mitchell. In addition, we will see choreography by Christopher Gattelli, musical direction by Jim Abbott, sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Brian MacDevitt and sound by Scott Lehrer.
