2026 Tony Awards Nominees
2026 Tony Awards Nominees
Winners will be named at a June 7 ceremony celebrating the best of Broadway at Radio City Music Hall.
Nominations for the 79th Annual Tony Awards were revealed May 5 by stage and screen favorites Uzo Aduba and Darren Criss—watch the full announcement above. This year, The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titaníque, and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) will vie for the coveted title of Best Musical, while The Balusters, Giant, Liberation, and Little Bear Ridge Road will be up for Best Play.
The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! emerged as the season's most-nominated productions, each earning 12 nods including Best Musical. Lincoln Center Theater's Ragtime was right behind them with 11 nominations, and Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman is the most-nominated play of the season with nine total nods (tying it with fellow revivals Cats: The Jellicle Ball and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show).
See the full list of nominations below.
Winners will be named in a starry and performance-packed ceremony June 7, airing live on both coasts from Radio City Music Hall via CBS and streaming live on Paramount+ for Premium-level members. Grammy winner Pink is poised to host. As always, Playbill will be on the scene to cover Broadway's biggest night from NYC, bringing you the latest throughout the evening and beyond.
