LONDON - FANTASY
The world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a new play based on an original new story by "Harry Potter" creator J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, comes to London's West End. It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places. |

Notes from Rich:
Let me just start off by saying that I have never read any of the books in the Harry Potter series, nor have I seen any of the movies. I know. I know. What's wrong with me right? What can I say? It's just never interested me I guess. But who cares what I think. The show is going to be a big fat hit. In fact the London production, won a record breaking nine Olivier Awards, including Best Play of the Year. Will lightning strike twice? If I was a betting man I would say a resounding yes. Tickets for the highly anticipated play are set to go on sale on October 12.
