The Notebook to open on Broadway March 14th

You’ve read the book. You’ve seen the movie. Now see this beloved love story, live on stage.
Based on Nicholas Spark’s 1996 best-selling novel, the new musical, The Notebook, began previews on February 10 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre with opening night scheduled for March 14.
Featuring music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson, book by Bekah Brunstetter, and direction by Michael Grief and Schele Williams, The Notebook is on its way to becoming one of the big hits of the Broadway season. Not a surprise when you consider the raves the show received during its initial 2022 run at Chicago’s Shakespeare Festival.
Now, while I have never seen the 2004 film or read Spark’s book, I have always been a sucker for a good old-fashioned love story, so you better believe that I am not going to miss seeing
The Notebook theatre fans.
